• RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead the development, design and implementation of Q2 Solutions’ IVD strategy in collaboration with the Oncology CDx Advisor, CDx Discipline Director, other CDx Team Members, project management, Lab Directors, Regulatory, and Marketing functions.
  • To Lead interactions with IVD companies and partner with Pharma to ensure adequate training of Q2 Solutions personnel for CDx and IVD studies. To work in concert with the CDx Discipline Director to ensure these are delivered so as not to affect study start.
  • Manage and foster key collaborations with (IVD) partners in support of Q2 Solutions IVD & CDx strategy and ongoing CDx studies. 
  • To have oversight of IVD programs, to track these programs and provide pricing recommendations with CDx personnel and Strategic Pricing Group.
  • Serve as a technical IVD / CDx SME within the Science Team to foster to help generate opportunities for full service across Central Labs.
  • Make recommendations on New Technologies and work with internal labs for new technology assessment.
  • Work alongside Q2 Solutions, IQVIA and Quest Business Development Directors to seek new medical device studies to be placed in appropriate Q2 Solutions or Quest Laboratories.
  • Contribute to the development of internal and/or external communication pertaining to IVD and CDx, as appropriate. Provide regular updates to Science Group and Leadership Team as required.
  • Demonstrate strong leadership skills, being prepared to make decisions and use Influencing skills to drive IVD direction for the benefit of Q2 Solutions and its parent companies. 
  • Minimum Education and Experience
• • BA/BS required; MBA and/or PhD preferred.
  • Previous experience working in a laboratory preferred
  • A minimum 8–10 years of industry experience with at least 5+ years of experience in IVD and or CDx development in a diagnostic company, Pharma industry or Central laboratory.
