Prepare SEC reports and schedules in compliance with regulations and in accordance with U.S. GAAP. Coordinate with other groups within the company including Corporate and Technical Accounting, Tax, Treasury, Investor Relations, FP&A and Business Units to ensure accurate and timely reporting of financial data. Prepare and analyze aggregated financial data to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulations and practices. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Ensure that the company’s public financial statements and other SEC filings are of the highest standards of quality, GAAP-compliant and useful to management and the investing public.

• Assist with the quarterly and annual process for filing the Form 10-Q and 10-K (Edgar and iXBRL), including drafting documents, ensuring quality, and coordinating review by management, legal counsel and independent auditors, while adhering to strict timelines.

• Assist with preparation of other periodic SEC documents, including, but not limited to Form 8-K, S-3, and S-8 reporting requirements.

• Assist in preparing earnings releases, including pro forma results, as well as investor presentations.

• Track and communicate with both internal groups and external auditors on financial statements to ensure day to day deliverables are completed in a timely manner.

• Identify improvements that will positively impact corporate success and fully comply with objectives and regulations.

• Prepare monthly stock-based compensation expense analysis, including recording journal entries and periodic forecasting activities.

• Prepare quarterly weighted average shares outstanding analysis and reconciliation, including periodic forecasting activities.

• Assist in preparation of annual benefit plan financial statements and audits. Identify improvements that will positively impact management of benefit plan audits and financial statement filings for defined benefit and defined contribution plans

• Assist in the implementation of new accounting guidance issued by FASB or the SEC, including researching and documenting the proper accounting and reporting application.

• Assist in technical accounting research and resolving internal accounting technical issues. Identify sustainable strategic improvements, suggest corrective actions, coordinate implementation and track efficiencies achieved.

• Assist in the performance of internal control activities.

• Perform ad-hoc accounting analysis and projects.

• Perform other related duties as assigned. Job Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree (B.A. /B.S.) or equivalent in accounting or related discipline.

• Experience: Three to five years related experience with at least two of the required years with a national or regional CPA firm and/or commercial company with consolidation. Experience with financial reporting required.

• An equivalent combination of education and experience may be accepted as a satisfactory substitute for the specific education and experience listed above.

• Certification/Licensure: CPA preferred.

• Other: Demonstrate the ability to effectively manage multiple priorities; self-directed, with the ability to work both independently and in a team environment. Attention to detail to ensure accuracy is critical. WDesk/Workiva experience preferred.
