This position will work across all practice areas within our Evidera business to develop and deploy strategic initiatives. Sets the strategic framework and facilitates the strategy development process with practice area leaders. Delivers insights on the market and develops foresight with respect to industry evolution and transformation.

Specific Responsibilities Leads the development of the annual strategic plan in partnership with the practice area heads, including market analysis, competitive analysis, financial analysis and business case development, operational assessment and best practice benchmarking (internal and external) Engages with the business unit leadership on a regular basis to collaborate on strategic efforts and effectively drives change, challenges thinking, and ensures that the strategies put in place are the right ones to sustain long-term advantage and differentiation Partners with business unit leaders and centers of excellence on strategic initiatives Support business unit POV for corporate M&A decisions through research and evaluation Provides insights on competitive dynamics in the peri-and-post approval services landscape Develops and implements market research plans across the portfolio

Required Qualifications and Experience MBA or other relevant advanced degree strongly preferred 15 years of progressive experience at a top-tier strategy consulting firm or pharma company with a strategy background. Background in strategy

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Evidence of strong leadership and business acumen with ability to handle complex situations and multiple responsibilities simultaneously mixing long term projects with the urgency of immediate demands on operations Adept at “thinking outside of the box” and developing new approaches and ideas Quick learner – ability to grasp complex issues quickly, simplify them, and comprehensively and objectively assess decisions Proactive leader with intellectual curiosity and demonstrated strategic and tactical planning skills Exhibits the skills to collaborate with and achieve actionable results through others Ability to build strong and sustainable relationships with the most senior level executives and the capability to be impactful across levels of an organization Excellent problem solving and critical thinking skills Ability to flex from senior interactions to dive into detailed analysis and quantitative modeling Adept at simplifying complex topics to strategies and business cases that are easily consumed across the organization Strong organizational agility and demonstrated drive for results Strategic and creative thinking; distinguished written and oral communications skills Exceptional influencing and negotiating skills to establish credibility and trust with executives across the business

Working Conditions and Environment: Exposure to high pressure, intense concentration needed Must pay constant attention to detail-visual, mental Must be able to multi-task constantly Frequent interaction with clients / associates required Long, varied hours required occasionally Travel and rotating shifts required on rare occasions Exposure to toxic materials on rare occasions
