We are looking for PhD students (preferably in their senior years) majored in CS, EE, Stat, Health/Medical/Bio-informatics, Biostat, or similar quantitative areas to join Advanced Analytics team at IQVIA as research interns to leverage IQVIA’s vast amount of real-world patient-level health data and address exciting and challenging topics such as disease progression modeling, brand optimization, and disease phenotyping or patient subtyping.


Summary of duty
•    Conduct research work to solve our existing data science problems at IQVIA by leveraging state of art machine learning algorithms. 
•    Develop new algorithms  
•    Publish papers to top conferences if there are good research results

Required Skills
•    Concrete understanding of state of art machine learning algorithms, particularly deep learning algorithms. 
•    Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, C++, etc. 
•    Solid programming skills in Python and PyTorch/Keras/TensorFlow (at least one of them).
•    Academic paper writing skills. 
•    Interests in applying AI ML to health care industry
