As aSr. Logistics Coordinator,you will support the External Science and Manufacturing, Small Molecule Process Chemistry departments onsite at the client location. You will streamline the shipping logistics and procurement process, and maintain databases by working closely with external partners and other customer functions. Youwill help other logistic managers in the group with applying data analysis tools in procurement management and sourcing data evaluation. Key Responsibilities Include: Managin g the logistics of shipment of R&D samples and bulk materials between Genentech and our external partners Liaison with other Genentech functions (CMC team, import/export team, transportation, and EHS) on shipping logistics Tracking and maintaining an accurate record of compound inventory and shipment Assisting on sourcing commercially available and other custom synthesized chemicals Assisting with procurement management Maintaining data entry and analysis of external activities

Education and Experience: High / Secondary school diploma or equivalent and relevant formal academic / vocational qualification Previous experience that provides the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the job (comparable to at least 4 years). Logistics experience required In somecases an equivalency, consisting of a combination of appropriate education, training and/or directly related experience, will be considered sufficient for an individual to meet the requirements of the role.

Preferred Experience: Bachelor's or Master's in a scientific discipline- Chemistry (organic or analytical) and 2 years of pharmaceutical industry experience Fluency in Chinese a plus but not required

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Ability to take initiative, solve problems independently as well as work in teams Ability to communicate clearly, both orally and written, are essential Previous experience working in a pharmaceutical company is a plus Focus on Customer Service aligned with highest standards of quality & excellence. Strong organizational skills required. Strong computer skills: particularly in MS Office and/or Google Drive, as well as other applications; coding experience is a plus Demonstrated experience in managing projects or interacting with CDMOs and CROs is desired
