PPD is seeking a proactive, experienced, Go-to-Market Sr. Marketing Manager to be based in our Morrisville, NC, office, our Wilmington, NC, office, or a remote location.

The position will lead Go-to-Market Marketing strategy and execution for key strategic focus area (s) within the Global Marketing and Sales Enablement department. You will collaborate with various subject matter experts to create content and then partner with various marketing channel managers to develop and execute integrating marketing campaigns to generate engagement, leads, pipeline revenue, etc.

Responsibilities: Plan go-to-market marketing strategies and tactics around key corporate focus initiatives to exceed goals such as web traffic, engagement, lead generation, sales readiness, etc. Develop engaging messaging and content aligned to the buyer journey with PPD’s subject matter experts, communications, agency partners, etc. Execute multi-channel campaigns with channel managers and applicable agencies, including paid media, social, email, web, events, sales, etc. Collaborate with internal/external corporate communications to create thought leadership with key media partners. Provide messaging and content for digital/in-person events such as tradeshows, roadshows, webinars, etc. Partner with sales to effectively deliver content that resonates with prospective customers and convert generated leads into pipeline revenue. Continuously measure, analyze and optimize campaign KPIs to improve on metrics such as engagement, traffic, lead gen, and influenced revenue

Desired Skills and Experience: BA/BS in Marketing, Business Management, or related field. MBA a plus. 8 years of experience in B2B marketing, preferably for a CRO, life sciences or health care company. Experience implementing enterprise-level demand generation programs. Best practice knowledge of B2B marketing, demand generation, content, programs. , supervisory, budget and negotiation skills Excellent analytical and quantitative data to interpret data, generated insights and translate into actions. Strong project management and communication skills to effectively manage multiple programs/tactics to drive alignment and execution across teams and functions. Proficiency in marketing automation, CRM, web, and reporting platforms. Works well under pressure

Working Conditions and Environment Work is performed in an office environment with exposure to electrical office equipment. Occasional drives to site locations, frequent travels both domestic and international. Long, varied hours may be required.

Physical Requirements Frequently stationary for 6-8 hours per day. Repetitive hand movement of both hands with the ability to make fast, simple, repeated movements of the fingers, hands, and wrists. Moderate mobility required. Occasional crouching, stooping, bending and twisting of upper body and neck. Light to moderate lifting and carrying (or otherwise moves) objects including luggage and laptop computer with a maximum lift of 15-20 lbs. Ability to access and use a variety of computer software developed both in-house and off-the-shelf. Ability to communicate complex information and ideas so others will understand; with the ability to listen to and understand information and ideas presented through spoken words and sentences. Frequently interacts with others, relates sensitive information to diverse groups both internally & externally. Ability to apply abstract principles to solve complex conceptual issues. Requires multiple periods of intense concentration. Performs a wide range of complex tasks as dictated by variable demands and changing conditions with little predictability as to the occurrence. Ability to perform under stress. Ability to multitask. Regular and consistent attendance.
