Head of EMEA Sales

Clin Tech Sales Strategy

This role will lead EMEA Sales for IQVIA’s Orchestrated Clinical Trials (OCT) and will be responsible for the EMEA Clin Tech Sales Strategy and Forecasting.

Responsibilities

  • Leads OCT Sales for the EMEA region, including responsibility for developing long-term business strategies
  • Establish and maintain effective and long-term relationships with senior levels within the broader EMEA IQVIAorganization with focus on RDS and Commercial Tech.
  • Develop relationships with key executives and decision makers within large and strategic accounts.
  • Manage Sales managers and several solution engineers in accordance with organization’s policies and applicable regulations.  Responsibilities include planning, assigning, appraising performance, and guiding professional development.
  • Collaborate with internal departments at the strategic level to identify additional sales and or service line offerings.
  • Create, where profitable, cross-geography sales opportunities.

Requirements

  • 12 years of strong sales leadership experience and direct sales
  • Successful track record in sales management role in motivating sales organizations to consistently achieve assigned revenue and growth goals.
  • Extensive knowledge of IQVIA offerings and pharmaceutical industry.
  • Proven track record of selling directly to Pharmaceutical/Healthcare clients
  • Demonstrated ability to influence senior level execs both internally and at customer organizations
  • Ability to work independently and engage wider go to market stakeholders across organization both internally and externally
  • Strategic business and Industry awareness and the ability to translate emerging Industry trends relevant to the organization
  • Excellent analytical skills and experience in evaluating and managing business plan
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work simultaneously on multiple priorities
  • Proven ability to empower and develop people and help them achieve goals
  • Excellent presentation, communication, and negotiation skills
