Oversees all aspects of management of laboratory sample operations to one or more departments.

Ensures productivity, efficiency and quality of the work are maintained and financial objectives of the business are achieved.

Oversees the development and implementation of laboratory systems and processes.

Ensures client deliverables and needs are met.

Education and Experience:

Previous experience that provides the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the job (comparable to 10 years) or equivalent and relevant combination of education, training, and experience.5 years of management responsibilityProven leadership skills

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Thorough knowledge of GMPPharmaceutical material handling and/or logistics backgroundHelpful but not required: In-depth knowledge of laboratory science, ICH guidelines, FDA regulations concerning labs processes in drug development process, sample production and/or data processingStrong leadership skills including budgeting, forecasting and fiscal managementProject and time management skillsExcellent communication/interpersonal skills including presentation skillsDemonstrated strategic planning skills In-depth global and cultural awarenessStrong organizational agility and demonstrated drive for resultsExcellent coaching and mentoring skillsPrior use of LIMS or other operations management system
