Job Overview:

The Payroll Associate will provide functional payroll support for the India payroll.

 

1. They will assist with input, audit, reporting and ensure payroll meets all statutory compliance.

2. They will provide support to the end-to-end payroll process to assure, payments and reporting deadlines are being met in a timely and accurate manner.

3. Provide support to processing of the payroll data in accor dance with the prescribed timetables.

4. To work closely with Payroll Coordinators and manager to assure data is input accurately and in a timely manner.

5. Assist with the verification of payroll output and review with Payroll Manager.

Respond to employee inquiries and work closely with the HR Shared Service team.

6. Assist with "pre-payroll" processing steps, such as data entry of employee change information, entry of new hire set up information, calculation and entry of pay rate changes, calculation and entry of terminated employee pay information, new or changed deduction information, set up or change information for direct deposits and entry of tax change information.

7. Assist with the "post payroll" processing steps, such as review of accuracy of paychecks, paycheck distribution, aid employees with paperless payroll solution, produce internal reports, assist with general ledger/reconciliations and any required post payroll audits.

8. Perform routine office functions such as filing, records management, and other duties as assigned.

9. Performs routine and non-routine data retrieval, research, analysis, and reporting from payroll record as requested.Education/Qualifications:

Any Graduate / Post Graduate in any specialization

Payroll or Accounting Qualification is desirable but not essential Experience:Candidates with 1 - 3 years of work experience in an office environmentAt least 1 year of experience with India payroll processes and/or inputsStrong verbal and written communication skillsAbility to maintain a high level of confidentiality.Ability to work in a team and independentlyProficient in MS Products specifically Excel and WordDetail oriented
