Oversee the development and implementation of recruitment and retention strategies that will drive enrollment and maintain the retention of patients. Working independently with limited supervision from management, the Senior PRL must strive lead a recruitment study team members in a matrix environment in order to achieve practical, experience based approaches to recruitment in order to meet deliverables on time and within budget while also working to support Parexel initiatives and new business opportunities. Senior PRL contributes to overall departmental best practices initiative and processes.

Key Accountabilities:

Accountability Supporting ActivitiesLead for Patient Recruitment and Retention initiatives on Client ProjectsActs as the patient recruitment lead assigned as part of the core project team responsible for internal and client project team communications and reporting. Senior Patient Recruitment Lead may work closely with Patient Recruitment Associate/ Patient Recruitment Lead co-managing assigned projects, based on project needs and scope and mentoring in client facing and future business conversations.Manage Multiple Patient Recruitment and Retention Tactics to oversee the development of patient recruitment providing direction to all relevant internal and external resources (e.g. project teams and contracted vendors). Tactics implemented may include: collateral materials, traditional media (TV, print, radio), online media, PR, advocacy group outreach, websites, technology based retention services, physician communications, pre-screeners and Parexel PreScreen + (chart review tool). Provides ideas for new innovative service offerings to management team based on experience.Financial Management Monitor project budgets for both pass-through and hours charged to ensure accuracy. Monitor invoices to ensure vendor expenses are within project awarded budget. Track project expenses using a dashboard, share financial information with management during project review meetings to ensure project spend is on target with budget milestones. Senior Patient Recruitment Lead is proficient on all aspects of budget management and has the ability to mentor junior colleagues in this capacity.Best Practices Work with a group of Sr. PRL’s to develop best practices for the patient recruitment associate, patient recruitment lead and Sr. patient recruitment lead roles. May involve weekly meetings and contribution to best practice process documents in various areas. Sr. PRL’s are required to maintain a minimum of two subject matter expert roles for strategic clients and patient recruitment and retention areas of focus.Metrics Tracking and Reporting of ROI Manage the analysis of recruitment metrics to identify trends, issues, areas of success and areas for improvement and the overall impact of the tactics implemented. Communicate and report to the internal and external study teams the performance of the implemented recruitment tactics. Conduct Return on Investment (ROI) analysis on outreach campaigns; report back to team and recommend refined outreach plan based on analysis. Actively manage the QC of the data captured in the PreScreen+ (chart review tool) tracker and report metrics to study teams. Senior Patient Recruitment Lead has a thorough understanding of campaign performance and offers client suggestions based on key metrics captured during the campaign.Presentations and Meetings Develop various patient recruitment and retention presentations and trainings including; bid defense slides, capabilities slides, Investigator Meeting slides and PreScreen+ training slides. Attend PAREXEL-Sponsor meetings, such as bid defense meetings, Kick Off Meetings, capabilities presentations, and Investigator Meetings as requested. Sr. Patient Recruitment Lead attends a minimum of 5 bid defense or sales meetings per year.QualificationsSkills:Strong computer skills including MS-Office products (i.e. Excel, Word, Power Point)Effective interpersonal, verbal and written communication skillsSound problem solving skillsEffective time and task management in order to meet project deliverablesExperience developing timelines and delivering projects on scheduleAble to take initiative and work independentlyAbility to successfully work in a decentralized/remote team environmentClient focused approach to work with the ability to interact professionally with key clients and deliver thoughtful client presentations. Knowledge and Experience:
