Overview of the role

We are seeking a strong sales professional who is passionate about technology and the value that our solutions bring in the healthcare environment. Someone who is curious about our customers business challenges and who wants to own the end-to-end process of leading, selling, delivering and evolving solutions to address client needs.

Role and responsibilities

  • Ownership of aligned offerings and/ or target UKI accounts, providing leadership of both product strategy and business development.
  • Work in partnership with our cross portfolio GTM teams, using a consultative approach and your customer knowledge to proactively manage the selling process and solve business challenges.
  • Achieve growth and revenue targets through the proactive shaping of the product offering and creation of client opportunities through effective networking and selling processes.
  • Cultivate and nurture external and internal relationships to create new business opportunities
  • Proactively seek to identify added value/ adjacent services and maximise upsell opportunities
  • Seek “starburst” opportunities and grow revenue opportunities across the portfolio of offerings.
  • Contribute to account planning strategy and collaborate with Account Teams to target and validate opportunities for assigned UKI customers
  • Develop proposals that best position IQVIA capabilities and solutions to customers.
  • Monitors delivery, implementation, and customer satisfaction.
  • Expertly manage operational and product processes in line with market and customer needs, ensuring developments achieve competitive goals. 
  • As part of the sales process, gather market and client intelligence and provide strategic feedback to strengthen offerings and capture additional business.
  • Proactively strengthen in depth knowledge of products and their application within a client’s business, sharing best practice internally across Sales teams
  • Typically reporting to the Commercial Director or BU Lead. May have reports but not mandatory.

Qualifications skills and experience required

  • Three A levels or equivalent minimum requirement.
  • Experience in a senior commercial position within the Lifesciences sector, either on vendor or provider side
  • Leading high value and long sales cycle information, technology or service sales
  • Demonstrable success in identifying, developing, closing and delivering solution sales
  • Well-developed knowledge in how to create successful relationships with internal cross-matrix operational, production, delivery and sales functions
  • Rich experience of assessing and understanding market/ competitor situations and applying this intelligence to lead the budget and forecasting process.
  • Eligible to live and work in the UK without VISA sponsorship
