Sr Specialist, HR Shared Svcs

Job Overview
Coordinate and support HR Professional Services Center (HR PSC) projects.  Coordinate projects to successful completion as team member, lead, or co-lead in a high paced, culturally-diverse environment with high attention to detail and consideration of implication on peripheral systems and/or processes.

Essential Functions
• Manage project activity related to large/complex HR PSC projects on a regional or global basis.  May be project lead in some activities, as assigned by management.
• Work with key internal and external contacts and nourish those relationships to achieve project deliverables within designated timelines.
• Create and track project plans.  Prepare and present project information to internal project team and external stakeholders.
• Ensure that work is conducted in compliance with standard processes, policies, and procedures and meets quality and timeline metrics.
• Maintain documentation of current projects, processes, best practices and lessons learned.  Identify continuous process improvement and establish global standards.  Support change management activities.
• Coordinate system integrations or upgrades as required.  Provide project documentation and training materials.  Deliver training to external clients and/or HR PSC teams as needed.
• Train or mentor more junior project support staff.

Qualifications
• Bachelor's Degree  Req
• 4 years’ experience in a Human Resources function with a combination of HRIS and/or HR Shared services experience Req Or
• Equivalent combination of education, training and experience Req
• Demonstrated project management skills
• Good time management skills and ability to effectively prioritize multiple projects and cope with a high workload
• Excellent problem solving skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Effective customer service skills combined with good listening skills enabling the use of critical judgment to offer solutions in line with business requirements
• Effective organizational and administrative expertise
• Good presentation skills with the ability to influence others
• Ability to analyze data and pay attention to detail
• Working knowledge of Human Resources related issues
• Skill in using Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and Project
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with coworkers, managers and clients
