Nurse Advisors Manager

IQVIA is looking for Registered Nurses interested in a Nurse Advisors Manager role within its Contract Sales & Medical Solutions (CSMS) team.

This position will see you manage all stakeholder relationships in order to meet customer satisfaction requirements, manage Health Management Solutions (HMS) projects, ensure revenue and contribution targets are met and customer expectations are achieved.

This position can be either permeant full time or a full time fixed term contract (maternity leave cover).

You will be based in the St Leonards NSW office with flexibility to work from home on an ad hoc basis.

Responsibilities within this role are to:

  • Ensure key financial performance milestones (e.g., turnover, vacancy days and sickness) for the project are achieved and drive key delivery targets.

  • Assist in the succession planning process and develop and conduct new hire training programs.

  • Ensure all team members have an understanding and working knowledge of the project service.

  • Ensure all Nurse Advisors are clinically competent for their role through appropriate recruitment, personal development and performance review.

  • May manage, train and develop HMS Field Nurse Mangers and Nurse Advisors.

  • Ensure all Nurse Advisors adhere to the Professional body standards.

  • Ensure all Nurse Advisor activities comply with local confidentiality requirements.

  • Provide a clinical supervision framework to support Nurse Advisors.

  • Ensure all Nurse Advisors achieve minimum standard in the use of IT systems.

  • Assist in the development of IT systems and act as a champion for existing systems.

  • All HMS personnel are required to undertake Adverse Events and Product Complaint (where appropriate) Training, and are responsible for reporting adverse events and product complaints in line with requirements, as applicable.

  • All HMS personnel must meet their obligations within the country specific Nursing and Midwifery codes of conduct, as applicable.

  • Manage staff in accordance with organization’s policies and applicable regulations.  Responsibilities include planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance and guiding professional development; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing employee relations issues and resolving problems.  Approve actions on human resources matters.

Required Skills and Abilities we need from you:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or Life Sciences (required)

  • Registered Nurse with a current registration (required)

  • Minimum of 5 - 7 years' experience in the Pharmaceutical or healthcare environment and/or equivalent combination of education, training and experience

  • Understanding and general knowledge of health service

  • Good working knowledge of national clinical systems

  • Ability to manage own workload with minimal guidance

  • Ability to monitor and plan to meet program objectives

  • Clinically competent in disease area

  • Provide lead on internal cross project working

  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, managers and clients

  • Permanent working/resident rights in Australia (PR or Citizen)
