Summary

The Associate Principal Statistical/SAS Programmer is responsible for creating, validating and executing a range of statistical programs and applies extensive domain knowledge in the programming of datasets, tables, figures and listings for quality and accuracy.

The Associate Principal Statistical Programmer will serve in the following capacityLead and execute programming deliverables for at least one study at a time globally (as Global programming lead) and ensure that competing priorities are managed appropriately.Act as a technical consultant for all technical related issues within the team that they are assignedWork as SME for at least one domain and act as a point of contact for the team/department for any queries related to those domainsLead and drive technical initiatives to upscale the technical capabilities of the programming team/departmentLead and drive technical initiatives to upscale the departmental functionalities/to implement new technologies Serve in a client-facing capacity that demonstrates an ability to anticipate client needs and implement innovative solutions, as appropriate. Develop and foster client relationships through effective project management and communication.

Requirements 7+ years of successfully performing the role of Statistical Programmer, in the clinical research industryExperience with creating and validating analysis datasets (CDISC ADaM standard), Tables, Listings and GraphsPinnacle 21 experience is strongly preferredStrong SAS programming skillsExperience as a lead on 2+ studies at once (Phase II studies required, Phase III studies is preferredVaccine experience is preferred, but not requiredSubmission experience is preferred, but not requiredExceptional communication skillsEducation: Bachelor's degree required (Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or related scientific discipline) Master's degree or PhD preferred
