Icon and in particular Accellacare have an opening for a Site Relationship Manager. This role is remote and can be done in US or EMEA.

Job Summary:

The manager is responsible for developing site partnerships in support of Accellacare's study and patient delivery model. This role will use internal data resources, primary/secondary research and personal expertise to identify and recommend research facilities and other partners that effectively can serve the needs of the Accellacare site network and overall ICON study delivery. This person will establish contact with executive decision makers at the external partners and active engages in the negotiations to create a business plan and agreements for a long-term strategic relationship with ICON and Accellacare.

The manager will emphasize and contribute strategy to maximize the use of ICON's Accellacare site network to drive sales and revenues for the business line. The role ensures optimal use of partners in conjunction with Accellacare to deliver ICON's portfolio of studies, driving superior patient recruitment performance and enabling internal and external efficiencies in clinical trial delivery.

Job Description:Recognize, exemplify and adhere to ICON's values which center around our commitment to People, Clients and Performance.As a Manager, the employee is expected to recognize the importance of and create a culture of process improvement with a focus on streamlining our processes adding value to our business and meeting client needs.Travel (approximately 15-20% maximum) domestic and/or international.Will represent site partnerships and their contribution to ICON's overall site strategy on cross functional teams to support and implement change activities and strategic initiativesContinuously reviews salesforce and other resources reflecting the development pipeline for early identification of programs and studies with potential need for Accellacare and partnersWorks closely with Firecrest and strives to implement its site enablers at Accellacare and partnersContributes to further development of metrics to measure the impact of partners and site relationships in support of leadership expected site performance. Analyzes the metrics to identify trends, variations, successful practices, potential problems and opportunities for process improvement.Develops a systematic approach to identify internal and external practices related to site operations that can be classified as best in class. Applies knowledge and management principles for sharing these practices throughout the ICON organization.Conducts periodic assessment of the need for different types of investigators, site profiles and determine specific needs in geographic and therapeutic areas utilizing internal information resources and to fill in gaps within Accellacare site network e.g. Salesforce and Citeline and liaises with professionals from Clients, Business Development, Regional and Country Leadership, Feasibility & Clinical Informatics, Project Management, Early Phase, Late Phase, Consulting Services etc.Continuously seek opportunities for new potential partnerships aligned with need assessment and agreed specificationsAssumes responsibility and leads the planning of the process to qualify a partner.Acts as a key contributor to the integration, organizational adaptation and process development of the Accellacare site networkMaintain a positive, results orientated work environment, improving partnerships and modeling teamwork, communicating to all impacted customers and stakeholders in an open, balanced and objective manner.Provides support to Business Development by acting as an SME for Accellacare and added partners for bid defenses, other initiatives.

Job Competencies:At least 4-6 years' experience in clinical research is required, preferably at a site or in a site-facing role within a CRO, pharmaceutical company, or related organizationBachelor's or equivalent degree is required at minimumProficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.Strong at detail management and process-drivenStrong writing ability is requiredPrevious experience with client relationship management is preferredAbility to review data and understand reporting is required
