PURPOSE

IQVIA is recruiting strategy and partnership directors to help guide the company’s overall product strategy, the development and launch of new solutions that support the strategy, and the medium to long-term product roadmap. This role will partner heavily with internal cross-functional teams in product strategy and solution development and is directly market-facing in driving the launch of new solutions. This position offers a unique opportunity for a “strategic director” who wants to drive meaningful innovation and impact.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Helping to analyze and participate in the product strategy across the IQVIA landscape of healthcare solutions.
• Identifying potential growth opportunities, including but not limited to exploration of new products, new areas for innovation, and new market segments.
• Conducting primary analyses to guide product teams’ decision-making on the most attractive opportunities to accelerate growth and/or improve performance.
• Assessing competitive landscape and pain points.
• Expanding our knowledge base in emerging and adjacent trends.
• Investigating, testing, and helping design and development deploy new solution methodologies, everything from user centered strategies to artificial intelligence and augmented reality.
• Orchestrating our solutions to improve our customer’s understanding of capabilities and our unique value proposition.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree.
• Previous experience with healthcare preferred.
• 8+ years’ experience in either a management consulting, product innovation or growth-oriented/entrepreneurial role.
• Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and creativity.
• Proven ability to boil down research into relevant insights.
• Ability to effectively engage individuals of all levels (both internal and external).
• Drive to get stuff done and not be afraid to fail early.
• Have experience working with design, software and business teams.
• Exemplary written and oral communications skills.
• Demonstrated leadership experience.
