Associate Director, DCT IT Solution Engineer

DCT IT Solution Engineer (Associate Director) is responsible to work with the with Business Development, Sales, and the operational team during the RFI, RFP, demo, and design process during the pre-sales/sales cycle. This Role will be specialized in DCT eco-system and will cover IQVIA DCT products like Study Hub, Referral Hub, CPE, Patient portal and tech ops. This role will provide support during pre-award phase, gather study requirements, coordinate with rest of the solutions engineers or equivalent roles across different product teams. DCT IT solution engineer shall represent RDS IT in the sales process and will be responsible to establish connect between the sales and the delivery team to drive clarity on what IQVIA is selling as well as delivering. The role will be also responsible to work on the pricing along with sales, finance, and delivery. Post award this person will be responsible to incorporate continuous learning and feedback to evolve these for the next award or deal.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Understand IT Requirements and develop IT technical Solution
  • Collaborate with DCT Solution Specialist and IT Product Solutions Engineers for the DCT operational perspective and inclusion in study specific tech solution.
  • Collaborate with DCT Solution Specialist for bid defense presentations requirements for DCT
  • Work with DCT Solution Specialist and SMEs from Study Hub, Referral Hub, eCOA, connected devices, IRT, and eConsent for the development of a differentiated integrated tech solution to meet the needs of the protocol.
  • Will be responsible to work with all the Development/engineering team, sales team, finance to define several financial models as deemed necessary for the proposal
  • Drive completion of RFPs/RFIs
  • Construct and run product demos as needed. Should be able to define POCs and corresponding success criteria’s as per the requirement from the sales cycle.
  • Conducting client discovery calls with sales representatives
  • Meeting with clients to discuss their needs, understand their requirements and limitations to work collaboratively towards an optimal solution

  • Strategizing with the sales team to create customized demos/solutions
  • Train and develop sales team on latest advancements of product and capabilities

IDEAL EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION

  • 10 + years of progressive techno-functional experience. Clinical Experience is preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information technology or related field, business administration experience is a plus
  • Previous experience in a parallel pre-sale’s role, ideally as a Senior Sales Engineer, Senior Solution Consultant, Senior Solution Engineer, Lead Sales Engineer, Lead Solution Consultant or Lead Solution Engineer in same or similar industry is mandatory
  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically about business, product, and technical challenges. Should have proven ability to quickly build and integrated technology solution architecture.
  • Proven track record of facilitating customer design / solution session for complex application solution architecture
  • Ability to understand, communicate and manage across the entire project life cycle
  • Should be able to demonstrate experience in financial modelling as per the requirement and should be able to interact and manage P&Ls with all relevant stakeholders before proposal submissions.
  • Should have excellent written and verbal communication
  • Should be excellent in MS office, especially in MS PowerPoint
