Editor, proofreading and formatting

IQVIA Holdings Inc.

Buenos Aires, Argentina

IQVIA is seeking an editor to join our team to assist with the creation of immersive & engaging clinical trial training tools and experiences

Who We Are

The Global Events Team at IQVIA creates experiences that are effective and unexpected. We incorporate the latest research on adult learning principles and behavioral science. We use creativity to inspire and engage.

Our purpose is centered around a desire to improve healthcare and deepen our understanding of human behavior. We are motivated by a mission to ensure our friends and families can take a walk in the woods, get on a plane and go somewhere new, listen to music, snuggle a baby, try a new restaurant, and live life to the fullest.

Our team is a tightly knit, collaborative, and intellectually curious group of people with a unique blend of backgrounds and experience. We are continually pushing each other to improve our solutions and are in search of a talented editor to help ensure all training materials are flawless.

About the Editor

Work alongside our Medical Writers, Facilitators, and Creative Designers, contributing editorial expertise to ensure all Powerpoint presentations, and other written training materials are letter perfect.

Help drive timelines and manage workflows to ensure show reels are ready in time. Interface directly with presenters (usually by email).

This position is home-based in our Buenos Aires office with frequent collaboration with a globally-distributed team. IQVIA offers a competitive salary and great benefits, including a profit-related annual bonus, paid leave, and private health insurance.

Who You Are

Seasoned:

You have extensive experience editing powerpoint presentations for grammar, typos, and formatting, and consistency within deck and showreel.

You know good grammar is a superpower, you have irrationally strong feelings about an Oxford comma, and you’re ready to be go to guy/gal for proper use of affect/effect.

Empathetic:

You have the desire to empathize with individuals, including a diverse global audience of physicians and care teams who are passionate about exploring new treatments for patients and improving the health of their communities.

Our presenters are super busy and – let’s be honest – they never get their presentations to you on time. You’re an iron fist in a velvet glove to help motivate them to meet deadlines.

Resourceful:

You may not know all the answers, but you have a proven track record of working through difficult challenges by independently researching potential directions, collaborating with others, and iterating to find solutions.

This role is very detail-oriented, especially in terms of proper formatting and grammar.  Please make sure you upload your resume in English since the position ultimately reports to the US.
