About the role

As the Associate Director, Program Management, Medical Imaging, you'll be expected to provide senior level tactical management, sponsor management and leadership to project teams, in order to ensure that projects proceed on time and within budget. This requires in-depth business understanding in order to make effective decisions independently, exercising your own judgement to execute these quickly and decisively.

Leading large, complex imaging trials and programs, your focus will be on driving your team to achieve operational excellence. As line manager, you'll play a key role in mentoring Senior Project Managers, Project Managers, Associate Project Managers and Imaging Operations Leads. You'll also support the Target Operating Model (TOM), implementing strategic and functional initiatives and, where appropriate, acting as the operational expert on therapeutic strategy teams. This includes demonstrating project/program leadership capability and authority and therapeutic expertise by contributing actively to proposal development teams or by participating in sponsor bid defence or capabilities' meetings.

As the key operational interface between Medical Imaging and trial sponsors, a critical part of your role will involve providing timely project status information. At the functional level, you'll also be expected to contribute to Sponsor Portfolio Management, business development support and documentation creation/revision, including SOPs and work instructions.

People Management and Influential skills Competencies aligned to Project Leadership Job Models for: Project Planning; Project Execution Project Fulfilment; Financial Management; Risk Management; Quality Management; Team Leadership; Communication and Relationship Management Knowledge and Experience Proven substantial advanced clinical project management experience, preferably in healthcare, clinical research, or a contract research organization (CRO) Strong experience in Project Management / Project Leadership with expertise and high-level knowledge in Medical Imaging is preferred. Proven track record of developing client relationships at program and / or account level Proven substantial leadership and people management experience is essential. Education Bachelors degree in a scientific subject or equivalent experience in a related role
