In return, we’ll help you build a career that you can feel passionate about. Job Summary We are seeking a Laboratory Technician 2 to support our bulk cells team located in Willimantic, CT. The Laboratory Technician 2 will produce SPF chicken embryo fibroblasts, liver cells, and other avian cell types in a cleanroom. Prepare medias, antibiotics, and other reagents involved in cell process. Prepare batch records for cells and reagents.  

Work schedule is currently Monday thru Friday.  

The following are responsibilities related to the Laboratory Technician II: Process SPF chicken embryos and cell cultures Produce Liver Cells Prepare media, buffers, and solutions Filter and processes antibiotics Complete internal documentation Perform housekeeping activities, including waste disposal and glassware preparation Perform all other related duties as assigned

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

The following are minimum requirements for the Laboratory Technician II position: High school diploma or General Education Degree (G.E.D.) and 1 year related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience may be accepted as a satisfactory substitute for the specific education and experience listed above.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

The following are preferred qualifications for the Laboratory Technician II position: GMP Experience Aseptic Experience
