Job Summary We are seeking a Finance Manager to join our newly acquired Vigene team located in Rockville, MD to provide financial oversight.

The Finance Manager will help support our Vigene team by: Assisting with the integration of the Vigene site into the CRL framework of financial reporting, processes, and procedures Developing and administering accurate weekly and monthly forecasting and annual budget preparation; assuming full accounting budgetary responsibility for assigned business Preparing financial summaries including key performance indicators for business reviews, management reporting, budgeting and strategic planning Preparing analysis of monthly, quarterly and annual financial results compared to forecast, budget and prior year, including market impacts, currency fluctuations, etc. Performing complex analyses including year-to-year comparisons and determining margins on new goods and/or services for forecasting and pricing purposes Developing, implementing and analysing appropriate key performance indicators optimally to improve business performance Developing and analyzing cost analytics, including but not limited to standard costings and absorption analysis for performance of the business Developing, implementing, and analysing commercial analytics, such as customer performance, service line profitability and price/volume/mix Working with financial reporting systems to analyse the business and developing into a subject matter expert on our financial reporting systems Job Qualifications Education:  Bachelor’s degree (B.A./B.S.) or equivalent required.  Experience: 5 years related experience in accounting or finance, with a minimum of 2 years’ experience in financial analysis. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be accepted as a satisfactory substitute for the specific education and experience listed above. Certification/Licensure:  MBA, CPA or CMA designation preferred. Other:  Comprehensive understanding of operational, sales and financial issues for business unit required.
