Principal Business Analyst / SharePoint Admin

Parexel is currently looking for a Senior Business Analyst/SharePoint Administrator to join the Regulatory Product Management team. This analyst will be 100% remote worker, but must live in the state of North Carolina.

As a Sr. Business Analyst the candidate is responsible for detailed analysis and requirements development of packaged commercial software applications targeted for the Life Sciences industry in the regulatory operations and regulatory affairs areas. This individual will work to perform overall analysis, determining and documenting detailed requirements for software releases as well as for new products. The individual must have proven experience in coaching and mentoring Business Analysts. The individual must be a self starter able to determine their priorities and delegate team priorities with minimal direction. The candidate must have effective facilitation and business process modeling experience as well as proven requirement writing capabilities. They must be comfortable leading requirement gathering sessions, product concept sessions, and providing presentations both internally and externally. The individual will also have experience in working with client organizations to identify business issues and data challenges as well as providing recommendations to address the issues and challenges.

As a SharePoint Admin the candidate must skilled in the creation and maintenance of sites and site collections, as well as associated databases and services. The candidate will be responsible for implementing and maintaining SharePoint user profile properties as well as managing functions on Central Admin page of SharePoint site.

Key Accountabilities include the following (other duties may be assigned):Staying abreast of regulatory agency guidances and directives, determining the effects on Liquent products, business processes, and best practicesFacilitation of requirement gathering sessions with internal and external clientsProviding thorough analysis and documentation estimates for various types of projectsDefining requirement details needed to implement desired features including the necessary user experience in the softwareLeading requirements and documentation review to ensure documentation is complete and understood by allCreation and refinement of requirements documentation including but not limited to functional requirements, conceptual data models, process flows and User Interface mock-upsDirect interface with engineering, quality control (QC), and Product Managers to ensure the project stays on task, clearing roadblocks as necessary Resolution and documentation of functional issues such as data validation, User Interface behavior, and exception processingAssist in the determination of product functionality needed in order to stay in compliance or to effectively address new and changing regulations and/or guidance related to the productCreation and delivery of presentations both internally and externally with respect to the product Mentoring and coaching Business Analysts including reviewing and providing recommendations for improving documentation and approachQualificationsQualifications :Bachelor's degree (preferably in Computer Science) or equivalent work experience 4+ years business analysis or similar experience in a software development environmentMinimum 2 years experience working with SharePoint Platform(with recent experience using SharePoint Online) in an administrative capacity Strong understanding of MS SharePoint Architecture Knowledge of the Pharmaceutical/Life Sciences industry, especially regulatory operations and regulatory affairs is highly preferredExperience working with QA and developers, especially as a liaison to subject matter experts, to identify and resolve functional issues Experience in documenting requirements such as process flows, functional requirements, User Interface mockups, user stories, and conceptual data diagrams Experience in leading and facilitating sessions to deliver requirements to project teams (i.e. engineering, QA, training, etc.)Experience in creating and delivering presentationsExperience with web enterprise architectures preferred Experience with the Agile development methodology desirableExperience working with cloud technologies highly preferred (Microsoft Azure and/or AWS)Excellent written and oral communication skills Skilled use of virtual platforms such as MS Teams and ZoomEEO DisclaimerParexel is an equal opportunity employer.  Qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to legally protected status, which in the US includes race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability or protected veteran status.
