At our site in Harrogate, we are looking to recruit a Publishing Associate to join our expanding team.</span></p><p style="margin-bottom: .0001pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: Arial, sans-serif;"> </span></p><p style="margin-bottom: .0001pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: Arial, sans-serif;">The Publishing Associate is an entry level position in the Genetic Toxicology publishing group, learning the tasks required to prepare and format check protocols, distribute as appropriate and perform administrative tasks relating to Genetic Toxicology.</span></p><p style="margin-bottom: .0001pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"> </span></p><p style="margin-bottom: .0001pt;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"><strong>The main responsibilities will include:</strong></span></p><ul><li><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Preparing and formatting check study protocols and reports to individual client requirements prior to Quality Assurance audit and dispatch to the client</span></li><li><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Internal distribution of protocols and dispatch of electronic protocols and reports to client via email/portal, according to the scheduled deadlines</span></li><li><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Preparation of appropriate documentation for dispatch of paper copies, if required</span></li><li><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Allocating and distributing reports for scientific peer review</span></li><li><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Archiving of raw study data and final reports</span></li><li><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Completing and maintaining databases and spreadsheets</span></li><li><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">General administrative tasks as assigned and required, which may include distribution of post, form production and issue of departmental telephone list, annual leave records, ordering of stock and external items etc.</span></li><li><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Assisting with travel arrangements, making internal bookings as required/requested</span></li></ul><p style="margin-bottom: .0001pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"><span style="color: black;">If you want to be part of a team that helps to bring the miracles of medicine to the market sooner then please apply now.</span> </span></p><h2>Education/Qualifications:</h2><ul><li><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">A Levels in English / related subject or equivalent experience. </span></li><li><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">A levels /or experience in technical writing, document production/publishing</span></li></ul><h2>Experience:</h2><ul><li><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Basic knowledge of office software (e.g., Microsoft® Office, especially Word and Excel; Adobe® Acrobat®)</span></li><li><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Excellent attention to detail, time management skills, and organisational skills</span></li><li><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.</span></li><li><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Ability to prioritise workload and work to deadlines</span></li></ul>
