  Job Summary  

The following are responsibilities related to the position:

 

•    Produce detailed work schedules for the technical group based on study needs;

•    Work with team leaders, supervisors and study directors to maximize technical resource utilization;

•    Make last minutes changes to schedules, when needed;

•    Work closely with supervisors to ensure consistency and apply standardized work procedures and practices;

•    Minimize costs whenever possible;

•    Write Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) whenever required;

•    Perform technical work when required;

•    Perform any other reasonable tasks that may be required.

  Job Qualifications  

The following are minimum qualifications related to the  position:

  Collegial Diploma in animal health care or equivalent; A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in toxicology; Practical knowledge of animal health sciences; Excellent knowledge of related legislation, principles, practices and procedures; Excellent knowledge and application of Good Laboratory Practices (GLP); Bilingualism; Excellent organizational, interpersonal and communication skills; Excellent problem solving and analytical skills; Ability to work under time constraints and adapt to change; Flexibility to work on changing work schedules; Excellent ability to efficiently manage people, time and resources; Demonstrated leadership;
