Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Cage Wash Technician for our Insourcing Solutions site located in San Diego, CA  This position is offer a $1000 Signing Bonus!!

Clean, sanitize, maintain, and repair all animal caging materials and cagewash facilities/equipment as required. Provide support, oversight and troubleshooting in the absence of the Cagewash Foreman. Maintain performance levels consistent with and according to company standards.

· Reviews, comprehends and complies with all SOPs/Policies and quality assurance standards pertaining to specific area

· Operates cage wash equipment and uses supplies according to safety guidelines; performs general housekeeping and adhere to safety procedures

· Cleans and sanitizes all animal caging and accessory equipment and maintains the cage washing area in a clean, neat and well-organized manner following approved SOP’s.

· Disposes of biohazard waste materials in a safe and thorough manner as required.

· Maintains facility equipment and performs routine preventative maintenance on cage washers, including routine inspection of cleaning filters.

· Assists with the receipt, stocking and maintenance of supply inventories.

· Maintains required attendance level and adheres to work schedule in accordance with required staffing levels in order to ensure that assigned duties are completed.

· Provide back- up animal care coverage as needed. Job Qualifications Education: High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required. 

Experience: previous manufacturing experience/prior larger scale facilities maintenance/production manufacturing
