Responsible for reviewing, approving and, as necessary, completing the set-up, processing and reconciliation of all site payments generated from subject activities, contracted milestones, and reimbursements for a group of projects.

Assists team members with resolution of payment related issues and escalates issues to management when necessary. Responsible for line management oversight for an assigned team of Site Payment Specialists. Responsible for ensuring that all project deliverables meet the customer’s (PPD Project teams, clients and sites) expectations and the contracted deliverables, providing accurate projections, reports and updates and ongoing risk assessments.

Minimum Required Education and Experience:Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience that provides the individual with the required knowledge, skills and abilities to successfully perform the job. Demonstrated experience in processing site payments, budgets/payment schedules and site pass through payment processing (equivalent to 5 years), including 1 year in supervisory capacity.Experience that demonstrates the ability to advise, counsel, train and motivate team membersRequired Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:Demonstrated evidence of effective mentoring/leadership, supervisory ability including excellent interpersonal skillsAbility to learn and demonstrate understanding of PPD SOPs, WPDs, and relevant ICH Good Clinical Practices, Country Regulatory and/or applicable tax regulations, and PPD/Sponsor SOPs and WPDs regulations for all nonclinical/clinical aspects of project implementation, execution, and closeoutExcellent organizational and negotiation skillsStrong attention to detailMust be able to work independentlyProven ability to handle multiple timeline sensitive tasks efficiently and effectively Flexible and able to reprioritize workload to meet changing project needsExcellent computer skills, proficient in MS Word and Excel. Preferred experience using PPD’s CTMS, EDC, or financial systems.
