This position is directly accountable to support and develop data-driven services and to deliver on-time data through innovative solutions to meet the needs of the pharmaceutical and biotech industries.</span></p><ul><li style="margin: 0in 0in .0001pt .5in;"><span style="font-family: verdana, geneva; font-size: 12pt;">The Data Engineer is responsible for broad and deep understanding of the organization's data and using that knowledge to deliver business insights in areas that are impactful to the business.  This role will work across the entire data pipeline, from source system to insight, coordinating the refinement of data for business value and data efficiency.</span></li><li style="margin: 0in 0in .0001pt .5in;"><span style="font-family: verdana, geneva; font-size: 12pt;">Responsible for delivering technical services (data governance platform, data quality platform, data quality analysis, web development, data integration and support) for data governance projects.</span></li><li style="margin: 0in 0in .0001pt .5in;"><span style="font-family: verdana, geneva; font-size: 12pt;">Builds databases that supports data traceability and assists with master data management.</span></li><li style="margin: 0in 0in .0001pt .5in;"><span style="font-family: verdana, geneva; font-size: 12pt;">Builds internal web sites that makes our data consumable. </span></li><li style="margin: 0in 0in .0001pt .5in;"><span style="font-family: verdana, geneva; font-size: 12pt;">Works across technical and non-technical teams to design, implement and evolve the data infrastructure to support business objectives. </span></li><li style="margin: 0in 0in .0001pt .5in;"><span style="font-family: verdana, geneva; font-size: 12pt;">Documents and articulates the organization's data topology</span></li><li style="margin: 0in 0in .0001pt .5in;"><span style="font-family: verdana, geneva; font-size: 12pt;">Responsible for building a data ecosystem by understanding the data, systems and processes along with how they interact to serve the business.</span></li><li style="margin: 0in 0in .0001pt .5in;"><span style="font-family: verdana, geneva; font-size: 12pt;">Assist with establishing our global data architecture.</span></li><li style="margin: 0in 0in .0001pt .5in;"><span style="font-family: verdana, geneva; font-size: 12pt;">Perform data analysis and implement recommended solutions that enhances the value of our data.</span></li><li style="margin: 0in 0in .0001pt .5in;"><span style="font-family: verdana, geneva; font-size: 12pt;">Implement end to end metadata, lineage and data quality solution by leveraging Collibra, Informatica, TAMR and other tools. </span></li><li style="margin: 0in 0in .0001pt .5in;"><span style="font-family: verdana, geneva; font-size: 12pt;">Hands-on developer to build technical data solutions to build an enterprise-wide standardized, harmonized data monitored for data quality.</span></li></ul><h2>Education/Qualifications:</h2><ul><li style="margin-bottom: .0001pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: verdana, geneva;">Bachelor’s degree in science or equivalent experience in the Life Sciences field.</span></li><li style="margin-bottom: .0001pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: verdana, geneva;">Demonstrated knowledge of Web Development.</span></li><li style="margin-bottom: .0001pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: verdana, geneva;">Proficiency with any database systems such as Oracle and SQL.</span></li><li style="margin-bottom: .0001pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: verdana, geneva;">Knowledge of cloud technologies such as AWS and Azure would be a plus.</span></li><li style="margin-bottom: .0001pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: verdana, geneva;">Good understanding of Data Governance, Data integration, Data Quality and data architecture.</span></li><li style="margin-bottom: .0001pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: verdana, geneva;">Demonstrated ability to handle multiple competing priorities.</span></li></ul><h2>Experience:</h2><ul><li style="margin: 0in 0in .0001pt .5in;"><span style="font-family: verdana, geneva; color: black; font-size: 12pt;">Minimum one (1) year of relevant work experience with technical experience to include web development and database activities. Open to recent college graduate with demonstrated development and database experience.</span></li><li style="margin: 0in 0in .0001pt .5in;"><span style="font-family: verdana, geneva; color: black; font-size: 12pt;">Technical expertise in C#.net and Angular web development.</span></li><li style="margin: 0in 0in .0001pt .5in;"><span style="font-family: verdana, geneva; color: black; font-size: 12pt;">Technical expertise in data models, database design development, data mining techniques.</span></li><li style="margin: 0in 0in .0001pt .5in;"><span style="font-family: verdana, geneva; color: black; font-size: 12pt;">Experience in Microsoft Excel.</span></li><li style="margin: 0in 0in .0001pt .5in;"><span style="font-family: verdana, geneva; color: black; font-size: 12pt;">Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau, Microsoft PowerBI or similar tools is a plus.</span></li><li style="margin: 0in 0in .0001pt .5in;"><span style="font-family: verdana, geneva; color: black; font-size: 12pt;">AWS or Azure experience is a plus.</span></li><li style="margin: 0in 0in .0001pt .5in;"><span style="font-family: verdana, geneva; color: black; font-size: 12pt;">Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills.</span></li><li style="margin: 0in 0in .0001pt .5in;"><span style="font-family: verdana, geneva; color: black; font-size: 12pt;">Demonstrated ability to handle multiple competing priorities.</span></li></ul>
