The Manager, Diversity, Equity & Inclusion is a high impact role that will own a variety of global projects and actions designed to build and maintain best-in-class programs for diversity and inclusion, including our employee resource groups; site-based strategies; policies; and awards. We are looking for someone who is passionate about having a positive impact on organizational culture and within our local communities! 

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

•    Oversee DE&I strategy adoption and track key metrics to measure effectiveness and progress;

•    Manage our employee resource group program, including strategic oversight; annual planning; risk mitigation and annual conference/learning;

•    Implement global diversity programming, such as monthly cultural celebrations and I Belong sessions in partnership with our employee resource groups;

•    Own DE&I metrics analysis and reporting, project manage external surveys and industry awards and identify opportunities to improve;

•    Manage existing content on iConnect and criver.com and create regular materials to promote engagement, connection, belonging;

•    Track event participation and website/newsletter views, as appropriate;

•    Manage Diversity@crl.com inboxes;

•    Lead various projects as assigned by manager;

•    Review and comply with Code of Business Conduct and all applicable company policies and procedures, local, state, and federal laws and regulations. Job Qualifications  

The following are minimum qualifications related to this position:

•    Minimum five years of related experience in a full-time position, and High School Diploma/GED required. Bachelor’s degree preferred.

•    Subject matter expertise in diversity, equity and inclusion is required and global experience is preferred

•    Demonstrated success leading and managing large, complex, and/or company-wide initiatives

•    Experience in leading change management/organization development efforts

•    Strong consulting, networking and influencing skills and a keen eye for risk mitigation

•    Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate strategy to specific actions with clear accountability

•    Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships at all levels of a matrixed organization.

•    Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making abilities

•    Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 applications (e.g., Teams, SharePoint, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Forms, etc.)

•    Demonstrated analytical skills, with experience tracking data, reporting, and providing metrics.

•    Knowledge in Teams and Smartsheets is a plus

•    Strong interpersonal and cross-cultural skills

•    Self-motivated; ability to work independently

•    Excellent verbal and written communication skills
