Principal Solutions Architect, Finance

Solutions Architect will lead, define and support systems solutions across Opportunity to Contract, Contract to Cash, Procure to Pay and Record to Report Parexel Finance and Operations functions using multiple Cloud/On-Prem technologies (primarily Oracle EBS R12, Workday, Salesforce, Planisware, Hyperion, MDM Technologies, Azure Cloud).

The role will collaborate closely with Finance Business stakeholders to define business case, requirements and systems solutions and will support all aspects of the systems development life cycle (SDLC) including cross platform solution designs and implementations. This role requires strong Finance domain knowledge, system architect and design skills and experience with EBS R12 or Workday, Master Data, Identity, Database management, data warehouse & Business Intelligence products/solutions.

The role will also be responsible for road mapping technologies and gaining alignment on projects/programs sequencing, project design reviews, and project audits to ensure IT team is implementing projects and deliverables to maximize business value and in accordance with the technical/architecture standards. QualificationsKey Responsibilities and Accountabilities:Lead brainstorming sessions to develop potential solutions for business needs or problems.Lead the requirements, design and modeling of technical delivery of project workstreams.Identify opportunities for process improvements.Prepare and document testing requirements.Ability to establish, implement, and enforce appropriate IT standards to meet business requirements. High level of competency in architecture creation and software engineering.Technical project management, scope creation and management, requirements gathering, data analysis, design document creation, communication with internal IT resources for data extracts, interface design and software development.Partner with peers and IT resources, business representatives and external platform vendors to execute the implementation plan.Maintain a positive, results orientated work environment, building partnerships and modeling teamwork, communicating to the team in an open, balanced and objective mannerSkills:Understanding of Corporate Finance, HR processes within a Projects centric organization. Detailed understanding of technology and services delivery. Ability to build and lead a team for Process and Technology Integration.Understanding of MDM Technologies, Identity solutions and Azure Cloud Platform desirable. Client focused approach to work.
