Financial Analyst - Project Close Out (temporary assignment)

Financial Analyst, Project Close Out role requires the ability to prepare and review standardized reporting and analysis to facilitate the timely financial closure of sponsor projects. This role requires a high degree of professionalism, attention to detail, and the ability to accomplish objectives with limited supervision and limited oversight.

This highly visible role requires a strong communicator with an in-depth financial understanding to support internal and external client needs. Success in the role will be measured by his/her ability to keep deliverables on schedule, achieve positive results, while providing continued improvements against meeting deliverables timely and efficiently.

Key Accountabilities:

• Perform project reconciliations to ensure alignment between Strategic Finance and Operations, as well as the client, to support financial implications of final project closure across all systems

• Clearly articulate financial position of project closure; in providing retrospective analysis

• Partner with Operations to ensure all sites are notified and closed in parallel with financial systems

• Champions and enforces master data management as well as harmonization and standardization

• Assists in development of standardized reporting across the matrix of PAREXEL, focusing on quality, insight and timeliness

• Supports process development and lean culture implementation across the organizationQualificationsEducation:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree required; MBA is a plus.

Minimum Work Experience:

• Strong experience with project finance and/or billing and collections.

• Strong and progressive level of experience finance roles with strong analytical and partnering track record.

• Experience in creating and leading best practices.

• Experience and proficiency with financial systems.

• Ensures data accuracy and integrity and conducts detailed analysis to solve problems and provide recommendations and insights. Considers the big picture, including all stakeholders, and looks beyond the obvious to anticipate problems and data needs and proactively find solutions.

• Expert in Excel and financial applications.

Communicate and collaborates with key global stakeholders to understand and manage their expectations.
