Job Summary  

We are seeking a Technician in Histology to join our team located in Laval, Qc

The following are responsibilities related to the Technician position:

  Perform techniques required to prepare the slides for the histological evaluation of the animal tissues/organs; Perform Histology tasks such as : tissue trimming, tissue processing using the automatic tissue processor, paraffin embedding, cutting on microtome, manual staining and mounting of slides; Prepare study book;Record all data and fill out appropriate forms during procedure; Prepare shipment and packing of specimens.

The following are minimum qualifications related to the Technician position :

  Collegial Diploma in Biology, Biochemistry or equivalent; Reading of English is required. Bilingualism is preferable; Good problem solving and analytical skills; Ability to work under time constraints and adapt to change; Ability to work in a team environment.
