We are seeking a Facilities Technician 1 for our Cell Therapy Manufacturing Facility located in Memphis, TN.

The Facilities Technician 1 performs maintenance for all production and process equipment. The Facilities Technician will function as an integral part of the maintenance team, provide technical support to team member on a variety of instrumentation and equipment, and manage all documentation relating to maintenance. The Facilities Technician will also maintain a safe work environment for all employees, approve maintenance work orders, and create/review/approve SOPs for maintenance of new and existing equipment.

The following are responsibilities related to the Facilities Technician 1:

•    Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair production equipment, process equipment and facilities equipment.

•    Responsible for the quality of product through the repair and maintenance of production and process equipment.

•    Complete scheduled and unscheduled work orders and preventative maintenance duties, while completing required documentation.

•    Develop, review, and perform preventative maintenance and repair operating procedures for required equipment.

•    Assist in the training of plant personnel on new and/or modified equipment or procedures relating to equipment.

•    Assist with validations and revalidations, as needed.

•    Assist in the procurement of stock and repair parts.

•    Work cross functionally to ensure scheduling of PMs and repairs.

•    Comply with current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP). Job Qualifications  

The following are minimum qualifications related to the Facilities Technician 1 position:

•    High School Diploma or GED required. 

•    Bachelor’s degree in life sciences or engineering preferred. 

•    Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Maintenance Technician.
