<p>Be responsible for developing novel Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR) based clinical assays. Provide support for the assay development team working with scientists, engineers and clinical researchers through all phases of assay development.</p><p></p><p>Minimum Qualifications</p><p></p><ul><li>PhD in Chemistry/Biochemistry or related field</li><li>3+ years of postdoc (preferred) or 5+ years of experience in solution NMR in a biotech or <i>in vitro</i> diagnostics setting</li></ul><p></p><p><b>Tasks</b></p><p></p><p>Be responsible for conducting feasibility studies for the quantification of new biomarkers using NMR spectroscopy. Perform analytical and clinical validation studies for new NMR assays following CLSI guidelines. Testing of clinical trial samples under CLIA and NYS regulations. Work collaboratively with other scientists, directors, software/hardware engineers and lab/med technicians. Provide support in troubleshooting instruments and enhancing instrument performance. Write project reports and technical reports.
