As an Animal Care Assistant, you will be responsible for the welfare of all our research animals. Your success will ensure the health of our animals and the integrity of our preclinical studies.

Work Schedule & Salary:      Salary: 17$/hrs  Schedules : Saturday and Sunday, with the possibility of working during the week based on your availability. You can choose to work between 8 and 20 hours per week.  What you will be working on  You will be responsible for ensuring the health and welfare of the animals. You will make sure their environment is clean, that they have food and water and are handled with care.

What kind of person are we looking for

We are looking for candidates with, at a minimum, a Secondary Studies 3. An AEP (Skills Training Certificate) in Animal Care is an asset.

The ideal candidate: must be 16 years old and plus must be a team player who enjoys learning and is able to do physical work.  Enjoys standing for long periods of time (4+ hours). Able to regularly lift 50 pounds throughout the day.  Able to work with animals
