We are seeking a Strategic Marketing Manager for our Microbial Solutions business unit to be located remotely. 

The following are responsibilities related to the Strategic Marketing Manager:

  Responsible for designing, developing, and implementing global marketing strategies to support business goals and objectives, execute tactical plans, analyze key results and report on outcomes. Identify new opportunities to optimize products and services positioning to increase market share and to communicate the optimal end-to-end customer experience within the target markets we serve. Conduct and translate market research into comprehensive product/portfolio campaign strategies driving business/brand goals and supporting the customer buying journey. Develop, implement, track, and optimize multi-channel marketing campaigns based on in depth analysis of data, brochures, insights and customer behavior and personas. Help develop event plans, achieve deadlines and budget, assist in the organization of trade show duties and representation for global marketing. Measure and report performance of all marketing campaigns, to assess against goals (ROI and KPIs) and adjust strategic direction as needed. Identify and provide market trends and insights with stakeholders to evaluate business impact; optimize spend and performance in alignment with budget as needed. Through business analytics, help research and understand the market dynamics and market potential in assigned areas. Own assigned web-based content residing on criver.com including the development of programs and initiatives to increase traffic to the site and support strategic marketing goals. Collaborate with Applications, Product Management, Marketing operations, R&D, Technical and Field Service and sales to synthesize and implement strategies, portfolio development plans, and positioning and messaging plans consistent with both corporate and business unit branding platforms. Participate in the design, development, and implementation of sales training programs. Possesses an end-to-end organizational mindset; identify and lead creating synergistic marketing programs that cross product portfolio and services and business unit lines Identify and lead evaluation of value-added opportunities to strengthen financial performance of business. Participate in VOC/Customer focus groups. Ability to lead, influence, and inspire stakeholders and drive progress amongst cross-functional teams. Develop and define content strategy and editorial calendars for key campaigns and product launches in collaboration with the broader marketing organization Partner with the Product Management team to gather market requirements for solutions using customers' needs, market dynamics, industry trends and the competitive landscape as inputs. Partner with the sales training team to deliver compelling training for our global sales teams and partners in support of new offering launches Work with corporate analytical services and others to prepare detailed competitive market analyses and strategic options to grow marketing share. Prepare detailed competitive market analyses and strategic options to grow marketing share including modeling of alternative business scenarios. Identify and create synergistic marketing programs that cross product and business unit lines. Perform all other related duties as assigned. Job Qualifications  

The following are minimum requirements related to the Strategic Marketing Manager position:

  Education: Bachelor’s Degree (B.A./B.S.) or equivalent in marketing or related discipline. MBA preferred. Experience: Five years related experience or equivalent in a combination of marketing, communications, and business management positions Digital marketing experience (including SEO/SEM) Other: Proven ability to creatively develop and execute business to business product (service) marketing strategies. Knowledge of marketing concepts and techniques. Proven ability to work both independently and in cross-functional teams to achieve established goals. Experience in key foundational elements such as agile planning and ceremonies, tracking team level metrics, and KPIs. Experience with market research and strategy development. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to adapt quickly as well as be able to prioritize and handle multiple tasks with competing deadlines.

 

PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Regularly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, and computer printer. Regularly provides information to and receives information from/through various technologies, media, sources and contacts. Must be able to accurately exchange accurate information in these situations. Must occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.

 

WORK ENVIRONMENT: General office working conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet.
