The IT Project Manager leads complex programs and projects drawing from prior experience to successfully deliver these initiatives across the CRL Global Technology organization.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

•Leads complex strategic initiatives often involving multiple internal and external constituents and matrix partners. 

•Responsible for planning, orchestrating and delivering given strategic initiatives based on appropriate methodology or framework.

•Ensures appropriate progress against schedule and takes remedial action as appropriate.

•Ensures deliverables and project outcomes are of the highest caliber with a clearly articulated scope and quantifiable business benefit.  

•Manages scope to ensure commitments are achieved within agreed-on time, cost and quality parameters.  

•Responsible for building, mobilizing and motivating high performing project teams.

•Promote team empowerment through team-building techniques, ensuring each team member is making a meaningful contribution and fully engaged in the project.

•Oversees organizational change management activities to ensure system adoption is maximized. 

•Chairs project Executive Steering Committee meetings to review progress, risks and issues with key constituents.  

•Produces regular status reporting to Global Technology and Business stakeholders.

•Manages project budgets and provides monthly financial forecasts.

•Ensures solutions are transitioned appropriately to the support team through company-defined processes.

•Provide training and mentoring of project managers within the Global Technology organization.

•Performs all other related duties as assigned. Job Qualifications Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

 

Minimum Qualifications

•5 years of project/program Management experience specifically with technology implementations

•Experience with Agile project management

•Bachelor’s degree from accredited university 

 

Preferred Qualifications:

•PMP and/or CSM

 

Other Qualifications:

•Demonstrated experience in delivering global, complex projects and programs

•Proven ability to quickly earn the trust and confidence of sponsors and key stakeholders

•Ability to effectively navigate a highly matrixed organization

•Excellent influencing and negotiation skills

•Ability to communicate at all levels and to multi-national audiences with clarity and precision, both written and verbally 

•Strong presentation skills

•Ability to remove barriers and enable teams to complete their objectives

•Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills

•Sound business and technical acumen
