  Job Summary Working within the IT Security Platforms (SP) team, you will assist with implementation and maintenance of Cyber Security technologies as well as recommending & implementing areas of improvement to address IT Security risks. You will work closely alongside the IT SP Team Leads and other IT Security operational teams in ensuring IT security controls are effectively implemented and maintained. 

Please note : Its an remote based role working from home, the ideal candidate can be based in any of these countries UK, Germany, France, Ireland, Norway, Sweden, Spain.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  ⦁    Maintaining the suite of Cybersecurity controls across Charles River Laboratories including: CASB, SWG, EDR/XDR, E-mail Security, DLP, Vulnerability Management, Antivirus, Cloud-Native and Network-Based security controls.

⦁    Providing recommendations for improvements across each of the Charles River Laboratories Cybersecurity platforms and controls.

⦁    Working with project managers to implement Cybersecurity controls, including following validation processes and standards, such as documenting system functions, requirements, operations and testing of these documented procedures.

⦁    Working closely with IT Security Incident Handling, Engineering, Identity and Operations teams to assist with resolving service requests and incidents related to IT Security.

⦁    Assisting with coordinating the implementation of secure technology controls based on business risk across all areas of IT infrastructure/services. 

⦁    Reporting on the technical aspects of security management against pre-defined Cybersecurity operational metrics, such as ISO 27001, PCI, HITECH, GDPR and NIST. 

QUALIFICATIONS:

⦁    Education: Bachelor’s degree (B.A./B.S.) or equivalent in computer science or related discipline, or equivalent related work experience.

⦁    Experience: Minimum 5 years in Cybersecurity and IT Operations, ideally with a Sysadmin or Engineering background (server management). Familiarity with DLP, EDR/XDR, CASB, SIEM, FIM, E-mail Security and SWG products. Pragmatic, disciplined and data driven. 

⦁    Certification/Licensure: CISSP, SANS or GIAC desirable but not mandatory.
