Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced, high energy and motivated Intern for our Corporate Development Function located in Wilmington, MA.  Our Corporate Development department is responsible for identifying and acquiring companies to build capabilities and expand market share.  The team oversees all facets of the deal cycle from target company identification to due diligence and integration efforts.  

The Intern will immediately become a working member of the team and assist the Corporate Development team with several projects over the course of the internship, performing market research, Company due diligence, and assist with integration planning.  In addition, the Intern will be required to complete a project focused on an area of improvement within the deal cycle, ultimately concluding in a presentation to the members of the Corporate Development team.   

Through this experience, the intern can expect to develop critical thinking skills, obtain an understanding of the mergers and acquisitions process, exposure to networking opportunities and being a part of a small and crucial team as well as conduct meaningful work that directly impacts the overall success of the company.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education: 

•  Student currently enrolled in an accredited college/university degree program pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related area of study

•  Completion of Sophomore year

Other:  

•    Minimum GPA of 3.2.

•    Ability to fulfill a 10-12-week internship within May - August time period

•    Effective communication and listening skills in a teamwork environment.

•    Ability to work independently with remote supervision. 

•    Excellent organization skills with a strong attention to detail. 

•    Ability to develop competencies in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
