Senior Contracts Specialist

We are recruiting for a Senior Contracts Specialist to be office based in Dublin, Ireland. For the right candidate we can consider hiring a Senior Contracts Manager. If you have Advanced or Intermediate Excel skills, strong attention to detail, are self-driven and enjoy learning new processes and enjoy liaising with internal and external clients this could be the role for you! We will consider applicants from within our industry and also experienced Contract specialists from other industries.

The Key Accountabilities of this role are:

• Prepare draft contract documents from Templates, including Start-up Agreements, Work Orders and Change Orders, from Parexel templates per guidance provided by the assigned Contract Manager or Line Manager, and in conjunction with relevant departments

• Amend project budgets as required

• May facilitate the negotiation of CDAs by preparing CDAs, reviewing client CDAs and negotiate within CDA review guidelines, including coordination with Legal and Business Development to ensure timely agreements

• Direct client interaction with established contacts via email and telephone

• Participate in contract review meetings with clients and internal customers

• Provide quality client deliverables to strict deadlinesQualificationsSoft Skills Required:

• Highly organized with excellent oral and written communication skills

• Analytical skills, problem-solving skills and attention to detail

• Confident dealing with internal staff, and external if required

• Negotiation skills

Qualifications Required:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Life Science, Business, Languages or equivalent. MBA is desirable but not essential.

Minimum Work Experience Required:

• Knowledge of contract management principles.

• Comprehensive knowledge of relevant software (Windows, Word, Excel, Outlook, Databases)
