Scientist 3 Analytical Chemist MRL

We are looking to fill a Scientist 3, Analytical Chemist position working as a full-time employee of ExecuPharm / Parexel FSP on long-term assignment onsite at one of our clients located in Rahway, NJ. Qualifications BS in analytical chemistry or a closely related field with at least 3-5 years of hands-on research experienceMS in analytical chemistry or a closely related field with at least 1-2 years of hands-on research experience

ResponsibilitiesConduct raw materials release testing using myriad of methodologies and techniques in a GMP laboratorySupport cleaning validation and cleaning verification analysis for GMP manufacturing areasData interpretation, processing, and reportingPrepare GMP documentation including analytical reports and certification of analysesResponsible for following safe laboratory practices and for maintaining the work area in a clean orderly and safe mannerGeneral understanding of analytical method development and method validation

Required Skills and ExperienceHands-on experience with chromatographic analysis using various UPLC, HPLC, and GC techniquesGeneral knowledge of separations scienceStrong computer, scientific, and organizational skillsExcellent communication (oral and written) and attention to detailExcellent organization to multi-task and manage multiple projectsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamGood understanding of GMP compliance requirements and ALCOA documentation principles

Desired Skills and ExperienceExperience with Empower chromatographic data program and with analysis of drug formulations preferredHand-on experience with FTIR and UV/VIS analysis preferredExperience with raw materials release per USP/NF preferredExperience with cleaning validation/verification preferredSkilled on method and instrument troubleshooting, specifically for LC and GC methods and systems
