  Job Summary  

We are looking for a Laboratory Assistant to join our Necropsy Team located in Laval.

Salary:   Base salary starting at $16.25/hrs. Opportunity to grow within the years.  Weekend premium: 2.75$/hrs After 37,5 hrs: Overtime paid at time and a half Holiday: Paid at double time Annual bonus based on performance

 

Work Schedule:  We are looking for candidates available at least 37.5 hours per week. Available to work daytime, Monday to Friday.  Depending on the company needs, you may have to do overtime at the end of your day and/or do weekend rotations.  What will you work on?

You will be responsible to maintain laboratory supplies (solutions and materials) and prepare studies according to the information received from the team leader and/or Technical specialists. You will also need to ensure cleanliness of work areas and equipment, file specimens and perform tasks in compliance with the Good Laboratory Practices (GLP), Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and the Health and safety rules. 

 

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for a person with a High School Diploma (or equivalent experience) with a good understanding of written English. The ideal candidate must be able to work with a computer and must be able to work physically (lifting up to 20 kg).

Please note that upon being hired, you will have to undergo an annual tuberculosis test at the expense of the company.
