This Opportunity

The Information Technology (IT) team is seeking an intern to join us to work various technology projects, including business process improvement, data analysis / mapping, and technology research.  In this role, you will have the opportunity to broaden your background and apply your skills to solve real-world problems.  If you have a strong analytical background and a keen interest in learning about technology, project management, and the pharmaceutical industry, this is the internship for you.

What You’ll Do

  • Conduct business process research and gather information to gain a deeper understanding of customers and existing processes.
  • Work with project leaders to plan projects, maintain critical information, track deliverables, and coordinate related documentation.

·Participate and contribute to requirements gathering by interfacing with business stakeholders

·Assist with project communications, including communications to stakeholders and IT colleagues

  • Evaluate and provide business process improvements to reduce process complexity, increase process efficiency, increase process effectiveness, and enable speed of operational processes


Your Skills & Expertise

  • Current pursuit of a bachelor’s degree in a technology major such as Computer Science, Engineering, Business Information Technology, Management Information Systems, Information Science, or similar

·Past internship experience or coursework in business process and/or data analysis

·Knowledge of technology systems and applications; knowledge of project management methodology and mechanics (SDLC, Waterfall, Agile) is a plus

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to learn quickly and apply learning to activities
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and team-oriented
  • Curious, creative mindset with comfort and ability to ask questions and seek answers as needed

·Ability to quickly learn, internalize, and utilize new information and processes

·Strong communication skills – written and verbal
