We are looking to recruit a Senior Business Analyst within our Integrated Delivery Enablement Office who will be responsible for working with the business to understand and deliver solutions that deliver business intelligence as well as provide analytical insight and improve process execution and performance.

You will employ a data centric approach to solve business problems by extracting, processing and analyzing large datasets by using good business acumen and an operational mindset to provide effective solutions.

The role can be available in the following locations - UK, Ireland, Italy, Croatia, Spain, Poland, Romania, Hungary, Czech Republic, Serbia or Lithuania and it can be either office or remotely home based. 

As the Senior Business Analyst, you will be involved in the following tasks:

Planisware Template Ownership tasks

Maintain PRISM Data Model File

Manage change request backlog for all Data Model items (includes RBS, WBS, LBC, CBS)

Work with PRISM SMEs and Business Stakeholders to gather Data Model details

Coordinate/Attend meetings to review change requests and plan implementation

Evaluate change request impacts to existing projects

Coordinate changes with other system Stakeholders (i.e. Neo, MDM, Oracle, IH)

Manage Template Release JIRA Story

Make updates in Planisware (Admin tables, template)

Coordinate mapping of staff with HR and Business SMEs for rate development

Coordinate creation of rates and facilitate loading of rates in systems (Finance, Neo, MDM,PLSW)

Perform UAT of changes

Provide production and other end user support

Data Model Governance tasks

Data Model Meetings

Coordinate Agenda and Facilitate meetings

Present Governance stories when applicable

Publish Notes & Actions Plans

Maintain and follow-up on Action items

Data Model Requests

Schedule and lead meetings with Business SMEs to gather request details

Schedule and lead meetings with PLSW SMEs to finalize implementation strategy

Perform E2E impact assessments and/or overspend analysis to support requests

Prepare presentations

Ensure completion of requests

Education:

•    A bachelor's degree in a related discipline is only desired (life science, business, engineering, computer science, math/statistics, etc.) previous experience is the preference.

•    MBA or an advanced degree in a related discipline is a bonus but not essential.

You will need the following Business & Technical skills:

•    Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills

•    Excellent analytical problem-solving skills

•    A flexible attitude to work assignments and new learning

•    The ability to influence stakeholders to determine acceptable solutions

•    The ability to present information effectively and confidently in front of internal and/or external clients

•    Business process modeling

•    Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills

•    Excellent documentation skills

•    Competency in MS Office applications including Visio, Word, and PowerPoint

•    Excel skills, including experience with Power Query, Power Pivot, VBA, and Macros

•    The ability to understand and navigate complex data models

•    Basic SQL skills

•    Basic data preparation/transformation skills

•    Some knowledge of Statistical Analysis techniques

You will need the following Knowledge and Experience: 

•    Previous experience performing in information-based business or analyst roles

•    A general understanding of clinical research and some experience in clinical research services 

•    An understanding and experience working with data in a domain relevant to clinical research services (CRO/Pharma).
