Project Manager, Investigator Payments

The Project Manager, Investigator Payment is a key position. This individual will take point on major Investigator Payments projects and initiatives, coordinate teams and processes to ensure that deliverables are timely and produce the desired results. They will be the go-to person for everything involving a project’s organization and timeline and will act as the point of contact for clients.
Key Accountabilities;
Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
Coordinate internal resources for smooth execution of projects and ensure resource availability and allocation
Developing project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders
Develop a project plan to track progress
Measure project performance using appropriate tools and reports
Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders
Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
Report and escalate to management as needed
Partners with various groups (Investigator Payments Office, Finance, Clinical and Site Contracts) to document business case for successful project deliverables
Demonstrates deep understanding of the current business offerings and stays current on all aspects of business intelligence. Continually challenges the status quo and encourages incremental improvements in the way the group functions. Communicate and collaborates with key global stakeholders to understand and manage their expectations
He/she will possess strong grasp on Investigator Payment and Project operations and their implications for financial performance
Skills;
Excellent project management skills. Familiarity with analysis and project management methodology and/or strong background in a functional business area, e.g. IPO, IT, Site Contracts, Finance, Accounting etc
Thrives in a complex, fast-paced and potentially ambiguous environment, works effectively in a matrix environment
Expert in Excel and PowerPoint applications; Advanced knowledge of MS Office Products (Visio and MS Project)
Excellent problem-solving skills across complex scenarios and cross-functional teams
Solid presentation skills. Ability to summarize complex issues into key points, present the issues, status, and/or recommendations with clarity
Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills. Strong command of the English language, both written and verbal
Demonstrated ability to develop, manage, and motivate direct reports
Knowledge, Experience & Education;
Extensive and progressive experience in project implementations—either internal to Parexel or within a similar organization or function
Understanding of the Pharmaceutical Development Life Cycle
Experience in Investigator Payments preferred
Bachelor’s Degree required
Project Management experience: certification or studying for certification is a plus
