Description

The HPLC Chemist (Analytical Development Chemist) supports analytical development and product development.

QualificationsA Bachelor’s degree or higher in a science major (for example, Chemistry, Biology, or a related technical field), or international equivalent, with a minimum of 3 years of proven pharmaceutical analytical laboratory experience.

Required Skills and ExperienceMust have QC or R&D experience in pharmaceutical industryHands-on experience with analytical instrumentation such as HPLCUnderstand and follow GMP / SOP requirementsMust have good communication and interpersonal skillsThis individual must be highly motivated, have a positive “can-do” attitude

Desired Skills and ExperiencePreferred to have working knowledge of various types of software including Waters Empower, MS Office

Responsibilities Conduct analytical method development, method validation and transfer with supervision from a senior colleaguePerform analytical laboratory work to support product developmentUnderstand fundamental analytical chemistry and chromatographyTroubleshoot basic testing and/or analytical method related issuesAccurately and timely document the experiments and results into the notebooks, ELN and LIMS (if required)Follow written procedures and analytical laboratory practices to ensure the work quality and compliance
