Senior Forecast Analyst - Commercial Operations

Our Strategy and Insights team, sitting within Commercial Operations, is a high performing, dynamic, and growing team. We are looking for a senior forecast analyst who will leverage their experience and expertise to bring our forecasting process to the next level.This team is a crucial function within Commercial Operations and is a highly impactful and visible role across the organization.

Our core functions include managing and developing our new business pipeline forecasting, executive board reporting, day-to-day reporting, and working directly with executive leadership on analyzing data and formulating insights based on strategic initiatives.

Our core strengths are centered around strong financial and business acumen, modeling and analytical skillsets,ability to pull and present data at a leadership level, communication, and executive presence.

As a senior forecast analyst, you will hold a highly visible analytical role that requires interaction and partnership with leadership across the Medpace organization.

Responsibilities

  • Provide Medpace Commercial leadership with timely and accurate forecasting in all phases of the business cycle
  • Build in-depth knowledge of Medpace and fundamentals of the Clinical Research Organization business model
  • Partner with Financeto ensure alignment between forecasting models and the presentation of new business and financial metrics
  • Monitors daily operations for potential impacts to our backlog and new business awards and exercises independent judgement to address and escalate based on subject matter expertise and organizational knowledge
  • Proactively identifies and makes recommendations to improve forecasting tools, models, and processes
  • Execute and support Strategy and Insights reporting activities cycle with a matrix of deliverables on a weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual basis
  • Support the S&I team on developing and driving Adhoc and highly analytical requests from executive leadership
  • Support the build out of our rapidly growing group

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business (e.g., Business Administration, Finance, or Accounting)
  • 4+ years of financial forecasting experience
  • Sound financial and risk analysis understanding, including the ability to develop strategic analysis
  • Demonstrated expertise in using effective problem solving with ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks while demonstratingstrong communication skills
  • Ability to work both individually and as a member of a team
  • Demonstrate sound judgment as well as apply logical/critical thought processes
  • Proficient in all Microsoft Office software
