What you will do

Relationship Management

  • To ensure development and management of the business relationship with existing key accounts, through understanding the client’s organization and business needs, identifying the decision structure related to product supply and third party manufacturing, working with the legal department to manage the execution and implementation of supply agreements, ensuring that the business framework (forecasts, order horizon, communications, etc.) is optimized, with regard to the indications of the Quote Group and the Superior.

New Business Development

  • To ensure solicitation of new project opportunities via personal contact with existing/ new key accounts, through communication of new project requirements to internal personnel in order to obtain price quotations and capital requirements, generation and submission of project proposals to the client, follow up with client and securing new business commitments, attending trade shows and meeting with client contacts on regular basis, with regard to the indications of the Superior.

Project Management

  • To contribute, together with the Technology Transfer Department, to new projects transfers to Patheon sites, through ensuring that the appropriate internal and external project meetings, timelines, issues and commitments are identified, addressed and communicated with the client, with regard to the indications of the client, the Quote Group and the Superior.

Client satisfaction

  • To ensure that expected service levels are being provided and that required planning and technical information is being exchanged appropriately between organizations, through the coordination of information flows, with regard to client’s requirements and Patheon’s stakes.

Cost definition

  • To ensure, together with the Technology Transfer Manager, the assessment of overall cost of new projects, through the collection of all the required information from different functions, with regard to Patheon’s stakes.

Quote

  • To ensure the preparation of the quote, with regard of Patheon’s policies and stakes and of the indication of the Quote Group and of the Superior.

Issue Resolution

  • To ensure the resolution of significant issues with the client related to client complaints, disputes, costing, quality (product deviations and rejections), manufacturing (production, deliveries), material management (vendor or material changes) and invoices, through the coordination of required support from the different functions, with regard to client’s issue and Patheon’s image and stakes.

Financial Reporting

  • To ensure that all projects achieve the appropriate profit margins, through the request, analysis and recommendation of existing and new project pricing and proposal strategies for commercial projects for the Monza site, through the update of financial budgets, forecasts and other reports as required and through ensuring that invoices are paid on time, with regard to Patheon’s stakes.

How you will get here

  • Bachelor's degree in science or another relevant field required.
  • A minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in sales, customer service, or account management roles with an FDA regulated company.
  • Customer Service orientated, highly analytical and possessing superior communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Successful track record in account management, sales or marketing - experienced in developing long-term business relationships
  • Project management experience related to Pharmaceutical Product Transfers.
  • Pragmatic \"can do\" attitude with strong leadership ability.
  • Capable of handling stress in order to lead and control multiple projects.
  • Working knowledge of the complete manufacturing process in a pharmaceutical environment including knowledge of pharmaceutical regulations
  • Demonstrated success in the managing of multiple projects
  • Ability to function independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to adapt to a changing environment quickly and easily
  • Ability to develop solutions that are mutually beneficial to the client and to Patheon
  • Strong attention to detail and organizing skills
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft (MS) Office Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Proficiency with the English language.
