Job Description

Summarized Purpose: Develops patient centric research to shape the company’s creative strategy, business development deliverables and operational execution. Supports benchmarking and key performance indicators related to recruitment tactics and maximizing return on investment, driving continuous improvement to achieve world class clinical execution. Essential Functions: - Leads the development of creative materials for the purposes of recruitment advertising campaigns. - Collaborates with the marketing ops and creative department to identify and develop the best strategy. - Manages patient focused research through patient surveys, interviews with physicians and global research. - Advises the business on actionable items resulting from the patient focused research - Maintains current industry knowledge of emerging and changing technologies, regulations, policies, and approaches with regards to patient recruitment. - Builds high-level, customized proposal content for sponsor discussions. - Develops case studies from past studies and maintains case study library for the business. - Oversees development and delivery of customer presentations focused on patient enrollment strategy. - Fosters a culture of continuous process improvement. - Grows and develops members of the team. - Manages staff, which may include interviewing and selection, job description preparation, professional development, goal setting, performance management, coaching and mentoring, employee counseling, and separations. - Approves courses of action on salary administration, hiring, corrective action, and terminations. - Reviews and approves time records, expense reports, requests for leave, and overtime. Education and Experience - Previous experience that provides the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the job (comparable to 5+ years). - Experience with clinical trial processes as well as overseeing and leading the efforts of others involved with clinical trials, specifically study volunteers and recruitment. - 1+ year of leadership responsibility - In some cases, an equivalency, consisting of a combination of appropriate education, training and/or directly related experience, will be considered sufficient for an individual to meet the requirements of the role. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: - Ability to read and understand protocols for early planning of recruitment activities - Knowledge of the clinical trial processes as well as overseeing and leading the efforts of others - involved with clinical trials, specifically study volunteers and recruitment - Skilled at prioritizing and shifting schedules for study availability to accommodate subjects in critical enrollment periods when multiple studies are competing for the same subject population - Ability to manage high stress resulting from the multiple on-going and last minute changes in order to meet sponsor expectations - Excellent verbal and written communication skills - Ability to interact professionally with different levels of staff, management, and clients - Ability to address sponsor and volunteer concern Management Role: Manages experienced professionals and / or subordinate management who exercise latitude and independence in their assignments.
