The role:

The global Procurement team is responsible for overseeing the corporate relationship and performance of vendors contracted in support of clinical trials sponsored by clients to perform services or to provide goods.

The Senior Procurement Associate is a key and primary contact between ICON’s Internal stakeholders and its vendors and represents Procurement department in a positive and collaborative way at all times. 

As a Senior Procurement Associate, you will drive projects relating to continuous improvement with active involvement and positive contribution to the success of the Global Procurement department , assist other Global Procurement team members, among other responsibilities.

You will need:

  • Bachelor's degree

  • At least 5 years experience in similar procurement role managing various categories

  • Relevant category management experience

  • Experience of P2P systems and processes

  • Experience working with external suppliers and internal stakeholders

  • Strong organisational and administration skills and experience

  • Read, write and speak English is a must
