Job Summary We are seeking a Technologist for our Microbial Solutions PTS Quality Operations Department located Charleston, SC. TheTechnologistwill conduct biological testing to support the manufacturing of products.

The following are responsibilities related to the Technologist position: Prepareand monitortests and paperwork to support documentation of manufacturing under GMP and FDA requirements Documentingactivities and demonstration of proficiency in SOPs Demonstratingproficiency oftechniques and competency of various production testing operations Understand and comply with all SOP’s pertaining to specific area. Provide input into the creation/revision of SOP’s Maintain accurate batch record paperwork and department records Perform data review as needed Assist in the training of departmental personnel Perform set up and maintenance of testing instruments Perform general departmental housekeeping tasks and adhere to all safety procedures Perform PTS In-Process Testing Perform PTS Cal Code Determination Assist with PTS Lot investigations Perform all other duties as assigned

The following are minimum requirements related to the Technologist position: Bachelor’s degree (B.A./B.S.) in Biology or related field and two (2) years’ experience in a lab setting; or an equivalent combination of education and experience may be accepted as a satisfactory substitute for the specific education and experience listed above. Computer literacy must include word processing, spreadsheet and advanced math skills. Attention to detail in all aspects of work is essential.

The following are preferred qualifications related to the Technologist position: experience with GMP products Prior experience with laboratory operations.
